Ecuadorian Highlands
The Ecuadorian Highlands (Andes Mountains) run through the middle of Ecuador from Loja province in the south to Carchi province in the north. There you can explore mountains such as Mt.Cotopaxi, the highest active volcano in the world, Mt.Chimborazo, the highest mountain in Ecuador, and Mt.Illiniza (shown below).
