The TEFL/TESL/CCA™ Certificate Program is a 150-hour Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language course, which includes our unique CCA (Cross-cultural Awareness) module. The program includes 80 hours of classroom instruction, 70 hours of tutorials, practicum (6 hours of which will be officially observed), and assignments. We also offer job placement assistance, career guidance, computers with Internet access, access to our EFL library, and settling-in assistance.
The TEFL/TESL/CCA™ Certificate Program (TEFL refers to Teaching English as a Foreign Language; TESL to Teaching English as a Second Language; and CCA to Cross-cultural Awareness) is similar to the Cambridge CELTA, one of the best-known and most widely accepted certificates of its kind. CEC-EPN’s guidelines are similar, although we also include a cross-cultural awareness component, which we believe is essential to teach successfully in any part of the world.
